And no, I can't remember what “groserías” I was doing… probably pulling my hand away (I’m a little impatient) or complaining. Anyway, this structure might look a bit chaotic on paper… but it’s pure, real Mexican Spanish. Here's how it works: Todavía que + [good thing someone has / receives] + [bad / ungrateful reaction] Por ejemplo: Todavía que te estoy ayudando, te enojas.
I’m literally helping you and you get mad. And in the wild, you're sometimes gonna hear it with y: Todavía que te estoy ayudando y te enojas. And the English translation? Well, it's a tricky one, but I'd say most of the time it's something like: 👉 I’m literally doing X (something positive) for you and you do Y (something negative)
