🧠 What it means
This one’s VERY similar to a common English expression.
Narices is just the plural version of nariz (nose), so you can probably guess which one…
👉 to stick your nose in (in the sense of prying/meddling)
💡 It’s very close in meaning to meter la cuchara, but meter las narices often feels a bit nosier, like poking around in stuff that isn’t your business.
🌪️ When to whip it out
Whenever somebody’s being nosy, intrusive, or poking around in private matters they should really leave alone:
No metas las narices en mis asuntos.
Stay out of my business.
Siempre anda metiendo las narices en la vida de los demás.
He’s always sticking his nose into other people’s lives.
Mi vecina no puede evitar meter las narices en todo.
My neighbour can’t help sticking her nose into everything.
